In order to open a Bank account in a Panama Bank, the following documents are required:

• Two bank references letters for each signatory of the account
• Two commercial references letters for each signatory of the account
• Two personal references letters for each signatory of the account
• Copy of the signatory passport and second Id*
• Initial cash deposit of US$1,000.00
• A personal interview with signatories may be required by the Panama Bank

*If the Directors are appointed by the client, also copy of the Directors passport and second id. In case the proceeding is done by distance all documents must be duly authenticated with Apostille.

Note: Some Banks may require other documentation.
